Endless Journey

I have heard the cliche about the path being about the journey and not the destination countless times and yet continue to be surprised when I re-discover it for myself. Anyway, here is a poem trying to express this in a new way.

No End

This opening
there is no end.
This cleaning
there is no end.
This learning
there is no end.
This growing up
there is no end.
This letting go
there is no end.
This work
will it ever end?
This Journey
this adventure
this swimming against the tide
this falling down and getting up
this getting stuck and going past
this shining light on dark places
will continue
until I end
and maybe
even beyond that.
