Destroy all art
smother every bit of culture
ban poetry
if that is what it takes
to have peace.
I would rather
people die of boredom
than die in war.
All colorful culture
inevitably
boils down
to one color -
the color of blood.
And all falafels
are the same color
aren’t they?
And does it really matter
how houmus is spelt?
