Through a hole in my conditioning

What a relief!
I can open and flow
I do not have to be tense and hold back
anymore
imprisoned by my conditioning
and the collective hypnosis
listening to voices.
Voices that howl
“You cannot do this”
“You must control what you give
and to whom”
“This is yours and that is not”.
What a relief!
For just this once
I can breathe freely
and not be choked by my selfishness;
for just this once
I can drink freely
from the stream of unselfishness;
for just this once
I can love freely
without
being the one who loves
and give without being
the one who gives.
